Q2: Is it permissible to give zakah to one who wishes to marry ? Knowing that the married person is well-off.
A2: If the matter is as mentioned, then it is not permissible to give him from the zakah; because, given the situation as described, he does not fall into any of the eight categories mentioned in the saying of Allah the Exalted:[At-Tawbah 9:60] the verse. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
