Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 18369 )
Q1: What is your opinion, may you be rewarded, regarding the ruling on these names that are used for some well-known families: (al-Rahimin , al-Jalil, al-Rafiq, al-Mu'min, al-Basir, al-Hafiz, al-Shafi, al-Raqib, al-Badi'), which, as one observes, are names of Allah the Exalted, some of which are pronounced in the diminutive form and some in their original form? Please give us a ruling, and may you be rewarded.
A1: The titles mentioned for certain families are titles that distinguish some families from others, and there is no religious concern in them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
