Giving a translation of the Noble Qur'an to a non-Muslim

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 16579 )
Q: Is it permissible for me to give a translation of the Noble Qur'an to a non-Muslim, since when I discuss with them, they always ask to read the Qur'an? What are the best methods that help us in calling such people to Islam?
A: There is nothing wrong with giving a translation of the meanings of the Noble Qur'an to a disbeliever whose Islam is expected; because what is prohibited is giving him the Noble Mushaf, and the translation is not a Mushaf but rather an interpretation. The methods that help in calling disbelievers to Islam are explaining Islam to them, presenting its virtues to them, and making it clear that they are required to enter it, and that Allah does not accept any religion other than it. This should be done with wisdom, good admonition, and argument in the best manner, as well as through good example and the proper presentation of Islam through the actions and words of the callers. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
