Q1: I hadI had a commodity with me that I had bought for a specific amount. Then one of my friends asked me: "For how much did you buy this commodity?" I told him: "I bought it for such and such," and I added to the price I had paid for it. My friend then said to me: "Take this amount and buy me something like it." I took the money and bought it for him, and I kept the remainder. My friend has passed away.What should I do?
A1: You must repent to Allah, pay the excess amount over the price of the mentioned commodity to the heirs of the deceased, and seek their forgiveness.
