Do we count these sheep as grazing livestock?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 20057 )
Q3: I have some sheep, praise be to Allah, and I feed them in the morning by giving them barley or feed. Then, when they are done, the shepherd takes them to the mountains to graze from the morning until just before sunset. Then the shepherd brings them home in the evening. This has been the case for many years. Do we count these sheep as grazing livestock or not? In other words, is zakah due on them or not?
A3: If the situation is as you described, namely that they graze during the day for the whole year or most of it, then they are considered grazing livestock and zakah is due on them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
