The regular voluntary prayer (sunnah rawatib) before or after the obligatory prayer is not obligatory

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18514 )
Q2: If one performs the prayer but does not perform the sunnah after it, is his prayer complete or deficient? Knowing that I sometimes do not perform the sunnah after the prayer, please inform us, may Allah reward you?
A2: The regular sunnah (sunnah rawatib) before or after the prayer is not obligatory. So if one leaves it, his prayer is valid. However, performing the regular sunnah is an increase in good, and it is a confirmed sunnah that should not be left; because the voluntary prayers complete the obligatory ones on the Day of Resurrection if there is any deficiency in them, and a person is constantly in a state of deficiency. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
