The Regular Voluntary Prayers (Rawatib)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 15898 )
Q1: I went to the mosque to pray the Zuhr prayer. I entered and had already prayed the Zuhr prayer, so should I pray the regular voluntary prayer (rawatib) or should I call for the prayer and pray the obligatory prayer and make up the voluntary prayer after the obligatory one? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A1: If you enter the mosque and have already prayed the Zuhr prayer, first pray the pre-Zuhr regular voluntary prayer (rawatib), which is four rak'ahs with two taslims; based on the hadith of A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari , then if someone comes who missed the prayer, pray with him in congregation, otherwise pray alone. As for the iqamah
it is recommended, so if you want to pray alone or with someone, call for the prayer. Then, after finishing the Zuhr prayer, pray the post-Zuhr regular voluntary prayer (rawatib), which is two rak'ahs, and if you pray four, that is better. However, if you enter the mosque and find another congregation performing the prayer, enter with them and perform the pre- and post-Zuhr regular voluntary prayers (rawatib) afterwards. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
