The Ruling on Delaying the Regular Voluntary Prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Regarding delaying the regular voluntary prayer: if a person, after the night prayer, says: “I will pray it at home,” and then delays it for an hour or two.
؟
The regular voluntary prayer that comes before the obligatory prayer cannot be delayed. As for the one that comes after the obligatory prayer, you may delay it until the end of the time. As we all know, the time for the night prayer ends at midnight. So, you may delay the regular voluntary prayer of the night prayer until before midnight. It is better to perform all the regular voluntary prayers at home. In fact, it is better to perform all voluntary prayers at home, as it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: “The best prayer of a man is in his home, except for the obligatory prayer”.
