The prayer before the iqamah of the prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of the fatwa number ( 18591 )
Q 6: Do I have the right to pray two rak'ahs before the obligatory prayer if the prayer is delayed, or not?
A 6: If the delay has not reached the end of the time or the time of necessity for a prayer that has a time of necessity, then the sunnahs, despite their being prescribed, including the rawatib sunnahs, are not performed, except for the excused person, such as one who slept through the Fajr prayer; he prays its sunnah before it when he wakes up, even after the sun has risen or at its rising; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did that when he slept through the Fajr prayer on some of his journeys. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
