Q: Is it permissible to perform voluntary prayer after the Witr prayer ?
A: If you fear that you will not be able to get up in the last part of the night, then you should pray Witr before you sleep. If it turns out that you are able to get up in the last part of the night, then you should pray whatever is easy for you
and be content with the Witr you prayed in the first part of the night. However, if you are confident that you will get up in the last part of the night, then you should delay the Witr and make it the last of your prayers in the last part of the night; for that is what is best. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
