Guidance in the Thinness of Sacrificial Animals

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: Some market traders deceive pilgrims into buying thin sheep that are not suitable for hady, to be slaughtered as fidyah or hady. Is such an animal acceptable for the pilgrim in the situation described?
Part 2: It is not permissible for the pilgrim to slaughter a thin sheep for the hady or for the fidyah; for what was narrated by al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us and said:
There are four that will not be accepted as sacrifices: The one-eyed animal that is obviously blind in one eye; the sick animal that is obviously sick; the lame animal with an obvious limp; and the animal that is so emaciated that it is as if there is no marrow in its bones.أربع لا تجوز في الأضاحي: العوراء البين عورها، والمريضة البين مرضها، والعرجاء البين ضلعها، والعجفاء التي لا تنقي
Sunan Ibn Majah 3144Sahih (Darussalam)
It was narrated by Ahmad, and Abu Dawud, and al-Tirmidhi, and al-Nasa'i, and it was graded authentic by al-Tirmidhi and Ibn
Khuzaymah
and Ibn Hibban graded it as authentic.
