If one doubts whether he left a pillar or a duty, is one prostration for forgetfulness sufficient?

The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18808 )
Q3: If a person doubts during prayer whether he left a pillar or a duty, is one prostration for forgetfulness obligatory for him, or is a prostration obligatory for each of them?
A3 : If the one praying doubts that he left a pillar, it is as if he left it, so it is obligatory for him to perform it, unless he stands up for the rak'ah following the one in which he doubts he left the pillar; in that case, the first is invalid and the one following it takes its place, and he prostrates for forgetfulness. As for if the doubt about leaving a pillar occurs after the taslim, it has no effect, because the original state is the completion and soundness of the prayer. As for if he doubts that he left a duty, there is no prostration for him, because he is in doubt about the cause of the obligation of the prostration, and the original state is its absence. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
