The invalidation of wudu' before the closing salam

Fatwa number ( 19598 )
Q: If a person is praying a four-rak'ah prayer with the imam, and during
the first tashahhud (the middle one), his wudu' becomes invalid, so this person leaves and performs wudu'. When he returns to the prayer, he finds the congregation standing in the last rak'ah—that is, before the ruku'. Does the two rak'ahs he prayed at the beginning count as part of the prayer if he joins the last rak'ah, or are those two rak'ahs invalid? What is your opinion regarding the view that says this person, if he goes to perform wudu' while maintaining facing the qiblah during his walk to perform wudu' and upon his return to the prayer, does not make up anything except the rak'ah he did not pray with the imam, which is the third? And is there a hadith, the meaning of which is that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), after he said the takbir for the congregational prayer, remembered that he was in a state of janabah, so he said to the worshippers behind him: "Stay in your places." Then he went, performed ghusl, and returned to the worshippers and completed the prayer with them?
A : If a person's wudu' becomes invalid during the prayer, he must leave and perform wudu', then start the prayer anew; because what he prayed is invalidated by the invalidation of the wudu' and by leaving. So he does not build upon it, and there is no basis for the hadith in the wording you mentioned. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
