If one passes the miqat, may he enter the state of ihram from another miqat?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q3: If a person intending to perform 'Umrah or Hajj passes the miqat and wishes to enter the state of ihram after passing it, is it permissible for him to enter the state of ihram from a miqat other than the one he passed, or is it not?
A3: One who passes a miqat among the miqats while intending to perform Hajj or 'Umrah must enter the state of ihram from it and must not pass it without entering the state of ihram; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the miqats:
and those (Mawaqit) are also meant for those who live at these (places) and for those too who come from without towards them for the sake of Hajj or 'Umraهن لهن ولمن أتى عليهن من غير أهلهن ممن أراد الحج أو العمرة
