Q2: If I catch up with the congregation while they are in the final tashahhud and I say takbir and pray with them, then when the imam says taslim, do I complete the prayer or do I stand up and pray again from the beginning?
A2: If you said takbir before the imam’s taslim, then after he says taslim, you complete what you missed; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
