A 2: Saying the taslim after completing the recitation of al-Fatihah is a recommended practice (sunnah) for the imam, the follower, and the one praying alone; it is not obligatory. It is recommended that the follower say the taslim even if the imam does not, in accordance with the Sunnah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
