Q1: There is a woman who, whenever she performs the full ritual bath to remove major ritual impurity, is afflicted with pain in her head due to washing it, especially since her hair is thick. What if she excludes her head from the bath? Is the bath considered complete?
J 1 : It is obligatory for one in a state of major ritual impurity to wash his entire body for purification from the major ritual impurity. If there is a part of his body that would be harmed by water, and it is covered by a bandage or the like, he should wipe over the bandage. If there is no bandage on it, he should perform dry ablution with clean earth for that part.
