If a person in a state of major ritual impurity delays the full ritual bath, is his fast valid?

Fatwa number ( 18403 )
Q1: A person intended to fast a voluntary day, such as a Thursday, then slept after eating the pre-dawn meal, and the next day he found himself in a state of major ritual impurity and did not find water in the house , and there is water in the mosque, but the mosque is far from the house (9) kilometers approximately, but the problem is not the distance, rather he fears that if he goes to the mosque, his father will yell at him during the time he is gone, and where he was and why he went, and perhaps he will prevent him. And he did not purify himself that night and did not pray for a full day, and the next day he purified himself secretly from his father and made up the day in which he did not pray. Is his fast valid or not?
A1 : It is obligatory for one in a state of major ritual impurity to perform the full ritual bath, and it is not permissible for him to delay the bath until the time for prayer has passed. His father’s shouting is not an excuse for
delaying the full ritual bath as long as he is able to access water. As for his fast, it is valid, but he has sinned by delaying the prayer from its time, and he must repent and seek forgiveness for that.
