Renting a place for the Tarawih prayer: Is the Friday prayer valid in it?

Fatwa number ( 18240 )
Q: We have two congregational mosques where the five daily prayers and the Friday prayer are performed. Attendance increases in these mosques during the month of Ramadan. A group of Muslims in one of the city's districts rented a hall to perform the Tarawih prayer for one month only. Is it valid for them to perform the Friday prayer in this rented hall on a temporary basis for one month only, meaning: establishing four Friday prayers during the month of Ramadan only?
A: If the situation is as described, that the number of worshippers increases in Ramadan and the two mosques become too crowded for them, then there is no harm in your renting a prayer hall that can accommodate the worshippers. It is obligatory for the Muslim to strive to pray with the congregation of Muslims in the mosque permanently, and this is not limited to Ramadan or any other time. Indeed, congregational prayer in the mosque is obligatory for men. It is authentically reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Whoever hears the call and does not respond, he has no prayer, except one who has an excuse.من سمع النداء فلم يجب فلا صلاة له إلا من عذر
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:352
.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
