The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18100 )
Q 3: I was unable to perform the Friday prayer at its proper time; because I work, and many Muslims in the diaspora are in the same situation as me, as well as the Dhuhr and Asr prayers. What is the ruling in Islam regarding the Friday prayer, what is the solution, and is it possible for me to perform the Dhuhr and Asr prayers by combining them in advance or delay?
A 3: The Friday prayer is obligatory upon every adult, free, Muslim male who is a resident or stays in a place for a duration that prevents shortening the prayer, where the Friday prayer is established. It is not permissible for a Muslim to be absent from it except for a valid religious excuse that prevents him from attending, such as travel or a compelling cause like illness or the like. So you must strive to perform this great obligation, and it is not permissible for you to be absent from it except for a reason that is religiously excused. And Allah the Exalted said:[At-Talaq 65:2-3] , and you must perform the five prayers at their times, and you must not delay a prayer from its time except for a valid religious excuse that permits combining the two prayers, such as travel and illness. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا (2) وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ يَحْتَسِبُ
