Combining prayers in the market

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The ninth question from fatwa number ( 19479 )
Q 9: Is it permissible to combine the Zuhr and 'Asr prayers, especially since it is difficult and burdensome to find a place to pray outside the home , particularly when going shopping, where it is difficult to find a prayer place in those locations?
A 9: It is obligatory to perform every prayer in its time; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.إِنَّ الصَّلاَةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَوْقُوتًا
[An-Nisa 4:103]
, and the authentic hadith of Jibril regarding the times of prayer, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the prayer in the first part of the time of every prayer and in its last part, and he said:
The time between these two times is a timeما بين هذين الوقتين وقت
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36:381
. It is not permissible to combine the Zuhr and 'Asr prayers, or the Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers, except for a valid legal excuse; such as travel, illness, or the like. As for shopping and the lack of a designated place for prayer, this is not a legal excuse for delaying the prayer from its time or combining it with the other. It is obligatory for the Muslim to strive to pray, care for it, and perform it in its times wherever he is. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
