They hear the adhan outside the prayer hall, so is the adhan obligatory for them?

Fatwa number ( 20519 )
Q: We are a group of employees in a government department. We perform some of the prayers in a private prayer hall where the congregational prayer is held. However, we do not call the adhan for the congregational prayer. The reason is that we hear the adhan and we limit ourselves to only the iqamah. We ask you to clarify the following matters: First: Is it prescribed to leave off the adhan and limit oneself to only the iqamah ? Second: If the device from which the adhan is called in the mosque malfunctions, or if the power
the electrical power is cut off, what is the situation for us, since we—or some of us—rely on the adhan of the mosque? And is the adhan and iqamah prescribed for women? Third: If a person or a group of people enter the mosque and find that the congregation has finished, is the adhan and iqamah obligatory for them, or is only the iqamah obligatory, as people do today? Fourth: If a person sleeps and misses several prayers, what is prescribed for him regarding the adhan and iqamah? Fifth: Is it permissible for a woman to fast after childbirth if the bleeding has stopped, even if she has not completed the forty days, and to pray as well?

A: First: It is obligatory for you to pray in the mosque near your workplace, as long as you are able to do so and you hear the adhan. This is because the congregational prayer is obligatory for men in the mosques, and it is not permissible to neglect it. As for the woman, the adhan and iqamah are not prescribed for her at all. Second: In this time, precise means for regulating the time have become available. So, if you do not hear the adhan due to some obstacle, you should rely on the clock here, and going to the mosque at the time of prayer is what is obligatory. Third: The adhan is a collective obligation. So, if the mu'adhdhin calls the adhan in the mosque, and then the prayer is performed, and another group comes to make up the prayer,
it is prescribed for them only the iqamah, and the adhan is not prescribed for them. Fourth: If he is in a town, it is sufficient for him to perform the iqamah for each prayer he missed. However, if he is in a desert or a place where no one calls the adhan, it is prescribed for him to call one adhan and perform the iqamah for each prayer. Fifth: If a woman who is experiencing post-natal bleeding sees purity before the completion of the forty days, she should perform the full ritual bath, pray, and fast, and her husband may have intercourse with her. This is because she is in the category of those who are ritually pure after the bleeding has stopped. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
