If one misses the congregation, is the adhan obligatory upon him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 565 )
Q1: If I enter the mosque to pray with the congregation and find that they have already prayed, and I did not hear the adhan, should I call the adhan or pray with only the iqamah?
A1: The adhan of the mosque’s mu’adhdhin for that prayer is sufficient; because the adhan is a collective obligation (fard kifayah) that, when performed by some, is lifted from the rest. Therefore, you should pray your prayer with only the iqamah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
