Q4: When is the full ritual bath obligatory due to major ritual impurity , and does enjoying one's wives make the full ritual bath obligatory or not? For example, caressing without penetration, and caressing without a barrier?
A4 : The full ritual bath is obligatory due to major ritual impurity if one emits semen with desire, or if one emits semen while sleeping, which is called wet dreams, or if one inserts his penis into the vagina, even if he does not emit; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Ibn Majah 608Sahih (Darussalam) and his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Mishkat al-Masabih 430 , agreed upon for its authenticity. The water referred to in the hadith is semen. As for mere caressing without emission, it does not make the full ritual bath obligatory. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

إذا التقى الختانان فقد وجب الغُسلIf one lies on his wife and compresses her, washing is necessary, even if he does not insert his penis.
إذا جلس بين شعبها الأربع ثم جهدها، فقد وجب الغُسل وإن لم ينزلAnd his saying (peace and blessings be upon him) when Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) asked him about wet dreams, whether the full ritual bath is obligatory for her in that case? He said: Yes, if she sees the water
