The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 18426 )
Q 4: Is it permissible for a person to recite the Qur'an while lying on his side or reclining , due to the difficulty of sitting for him?
A 4 : It is permissible for a Muslim to recite the Qur'an while sitting, standing, or lying down; because there is no evidence specifying a particular posture for reciting the Qur'an. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
