Q2: Is the reward for reciting the Qur'an and dhikr contingent on contemplation during recitation, or is it for mere recitation , even if one does not understand or contemplate?
A2 : Reciting the Qur'an with contemplation yields a greater reward; because one obtains the reward for recitation and the reward for contemplation; as Allah the Exalted said: , and if one recites it without understanding its meaning and without contemplating it, he has the reward for recitation; as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Riyad as-Salihin 999 the hadith. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
