Reading verses of the Qur'an upside down or reversed

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 20258 )
Q 1: Is it permissible to read the Qur'an upside down, meaning: reversing the verse, which is indicated in the Qur'an by the letter (ص) from 1 to 2, and so on, whether in prayer or outside of prayer, or when memorizing?
A 1 : It is not permissible to read the verses of the Qur'an upside down, nor to read the words of the verse in reverse order. Rather, it is obligatory to read them in their proper order of words and in the sequence of the verses as they are established in the Noble Qur'an. The ordering of its verses is established as a matter of divine prescription from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), for the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) received
the ordering of the verses of the Qur'an from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and they reached consensus on this. Therefore, it is not permissible to read the verses of the Qur'an upside down in prayer or otherwise.
