Q: I am teaching in a Qur'an memorization circle at one of the mosques in Makkah al-Mukarramah , and I have a question. I ask your Eminence to kindly send the answer to the Cooperative Office for Da'wah and Awareness of Expatriate Communities in Makkah al-Mukarramah . The question: I teach young children who are memorizing the short surahs. When they want to recite what they have memorized, they recite from memory to me in this order: Surat al-Nas, then Surat al-Falaq, then Surat al-Ikhlas, up to Surat al-Duha, for example. Is there any harm in that?
A : There is no harm in that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
