Q: What is the ruling on relieving oneself in graveyards, and what is the ruling on transporting the funeral in a car or bus to the graveyard and reciting Surat Yasin in the graveyard at the time of burial?
A : It is not permissible to relieve oneself or urinate in the graveyard; because that is a disrespect to the dead and a harm to those accompanying the funeral, and because the graveyard is not a place for relieving oneself. It is permissible to carry the funeral in a car, but it is not prescribed to recite Surat Yasin or anything else at the graves; because that was not transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) nor from the Salaf of the Ummah, so it is a religious innovation. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This indicates that graveyards are not a place for recitation, just as they are not a place for prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Make some of your prayer in your houses, and do not make them into graves, for Satan flees from the house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited
اجعلوا من صلاتكم في بيوتكم، ولا تتخذوها قبورًا، فإن الشيطان يفر من البيت الذي تقرأ فيه سورة البقرة
