Circumcision of a stillborn fetus

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 17496 )
Q1: I am a man who has reached old age, and I have always lived in the desert. In my youth, Allah blessed me with a male child who was born dead. When it was time to bury him, some of those present advised me not to bury him until I circumcised him, so I did so. Your Eminence: What is the ruling on my action, and what is required of me? Please issue a ruling for us, may Allah guide you.
A1: If a fetus is born dead, even after the time has passed for the soul to be breathed into it, it is not circumcised. Rather, it is named, washed, prayed over, and buried. Therefore, circumcising the aforementioned fetus, which was born dead, is not prescribed. You owe nothing except seeking forgiveness, and you should be cautious regarding your religious matters in the future, so do not proceed with such matters without first asking the scholars. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
