She removed the hijab due to pressure from the school and her parents

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 16678 )
Q: The content is that she committed to the Shari'ah hijab while in the second year of secondary school, when she learned that it is obligatory upon her by the Shari'ah. Due to pressure from the school administration and her family, she removed it. Then she returned to wearing it when she reached the second year of university. However, she finds opposition from her family and others regarding wearing it. She asks: Should she yield to their desire for her not to wear the Shari'ah hijab for the Muslim woman, or should she continue wearing it despite the pressures she faces?
A: The hijab is obligatory by the Shari'ah, so it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to display any part of her body or adornment—including the face and hands—to any non-mahram man. Therefore, your commitment to the hijab is a commitment to what is obligatory by the Shari'ah. It is not permissible for a Muslim who believes in Allah and the Last Day to oppose you in this. You must be patient, seek reward from Allah, and convince those who wish to oppose you with evidence and gentleness. May Allah guide your steps and take your hand to what is good and righteous. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
