Q 1: What is the ruling on one who bows before the prayer of the two festivals in the festival prayer ground ?
A 1: There is no recommended practice (sunnah) before the prayer of the festival; because the time from after the Fajr prayer until the sun has risen the height of a spear is among the times in which prayer is prohibited, namely: the prayers of recommended practice (sunnah). And because the prayer of the festival is performed in places other than mosques, the festival prayer ground does not have a greeting of two units of prayer (rak'ahs) as mosques do. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
