The Festival Prayer.

The Shaykh : As for the third, it is the Festival Prayer. The Festival Prayer contains goodness and a call to it, and for this reason the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to order people to go out to it, even the young women and those who stay in their inner chambers, to witness the goodness and the call of the Muslims. However, the menstruating woman does not enter the place of prayer for the festival, because it is not permissible for a menstruating woman to remain in the mosque, and the place of prayer for the festival is among the mosques. We should conclude this month with what Allah has prescribed for us, and we should hope that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) will accept from us. For He who has granted you the deed, by His generosity, His bounty, and His kindness, will grant you the acceptance of the deed. This is what I wanted to point out before we enter into the topic of our lesson.
