Forgetting the 'Asr prayer and remembering it during the Maghrib prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 14528 )
Q: I—praise be to Allah—attend the congregational prayer in our village mosque, and the worshippers choose me to lead them in prayer. One day, the prayer was called for, and I stepped forward to lead them in the Maghrib prayer. So,
during the opening takbir, I remembered that I had not prayed the 'Asr prayer. I was unaware of the ruling in this case, so I proceeded with the Maghrib prayer and completed it. Then I stood up and prayed the 'Asr prayer. 1. Is this correct? 2. Is my prayer invalid or valid, and what is the ruling regarding the prayer of the followers if they were unaware of this or if they became aware? 3. Am I sinful for this? If I am sinful, direct me to what I should do. 4. Direct me to what I should have done.

A: It is obligatory for you to repeat the Maghrib prayer because of the obligation of sequence. As for the congregation, their prayer is valid because they were unaware of what happened on your part. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
