Q: One of the people pasted a piece of paper on the Noble Qur'an , and this is the text written on it: The method of prostration of recitation. It is prescribed to say takbir when prostrating; because it has been established from the hadith of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) what indicates that, and there is no takbir or taslim when rising from it. However, if the prostration of recitation is in the prayer, then it is obligatory to say takbir when lowering and rising; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do that in the prayer in every lowering and rising. And it is prescribed in the prostration of recitation from dhikr and du'a' what is prescribed in the prostration of the prayer due to the generality of the hadiths, and among that is:Sahih Muslim 771a . That was narrated by Muslim in (his Sahih) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he used to say this dhikr in the prostration of the prayer.
A : It is not permissible to paste what was mentioned on the Noble Qur'an; because the original state is that the Noble Qur'an is kept free of such things, and the generations have passed and the Muslims have inherited the Noble Mushaf free from what was mentioned. Therefore, it is obligatory to remove the sticker mentioned from the mushaf mentioned. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
