A 1 : The last verse revealed was the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Baqarah 2:281], as narrated by al-Nasa'i from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: "The last thing of the Qur'an was [Al-Baqarah 2:281]. As for the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Al-Ma'idah 5:3], it was revealed on the Day of 'Arafah during the Farewell Pilgrimage. Al-Bukhari narrated in the interpretation of this verse from Qays from Tariq ibn Shihab , who said: .
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

قالت اليهود لعمر : إنكم تقرؤون آية لو نزلت فينا لاتخذناها عيدًا. فقال عمر : إني لأعلم حين أنزلت، وأين أنزلت، وأين رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حيث أنزلت. يوم عرفة وإنا والله بعرفةAnd success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
