Q 2: Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, has commanded us to establish the weight with justice and not to diminish the scales. I work in one of the bakeries with the dough, and I have no other profession, as it is my source of livelihood. However, the owners of the bakeries, most of them, or if you wish to say, all of them, order us to reduce the weight of the loaf, and in fact, I witness this crime, and even participate in it. Knowing that I am ordered by the owner of this bakery, not to mention what we mix with the flour. So, should I leave this job, since it is my source of livelihood, or what should I do?
A 2: Allah the Exalted has forbidden cheating in measuring and weighing, which is overcharging and under-measuring. He said:[Al-Mutaffifin 83:1-6] . It is obligatory for you to weigh with justice, in obedience to the command of Allah the Exalted, and do not obey the one who orders you to cheat, even if you are dismissed from your job. And whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, Allah will replace it with something better.
And you must advise the one who orders you to cheat and remind him of Allah the Exalted, perhaps Allah will guide him and he will accept the advice. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

(1) Woe to those who give less [than due], (2) Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. (3) But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. (4) Do they not think that they will be resurrected (5) For a tremendous Day - (6) The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?
وَيْلٌ لِلْمُطَفِّفِينَ (1) الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ (2) وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَوْ وَزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ (3) أَلا يَظُنُّ أُولَئِكَ أَنَّهُمْ مَبْعُوثُونَ (4) لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ (5) يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَAnd you must advise the one who orders you to cheat and remind him of Allah the Exalted, perhaps Allah will guide him and he will accept the advice. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
