Q 2: There are people who, if one of them has a deceased father and sees him in a dream, slaughter a sacrificial animal for him. Is this a religious innovation?
A 2: Slaughtering a sacrificial animal because of seeing one’s father in a dream has no basis; rather, that is a religious innovation.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
