Q1: Is it true or not that specifying a number of rak'ahs in the supplication of tahajjud is among the conditions for good desires, such as: (Guide us to the straight path (1111) after eight rak'ahs, repeating this verse until the completion of the week, it will be answered if Allah wills, or perform ten rak'ahs in the darkness of the night (night), and after the end of the rak'ahs, repeat this verse: (Indeed, His command, when He intends a thing, is only to say to it, 'Be,' and it is) (2000) times, and we ask Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, for what we desire and what we have desired, it will be answered if Allah wills)?
A1:Among the greatest causes for the acceptance of supplication is the mindfulness of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). He the Exalted said:[Al-Ma'idah 5:27], and among them is lawful food, drink, and clothing from good earnings. It is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saidto Sa'd(may Allah be pleased with him):, and among them is supplication and raising the hands seeking a response, and seeking
the times, places, and conditions that are closer to the acceptance of supplication. As for repeating the verses mentioned in the question with the numbers mentioned, that is not among the causes of acceptance, but rather it is a religious innovation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
