Q 3: I have friends who are open sinners, they commit lewd acts, and they engage in
deeds that anger the face of Allah the Exalted , but I love them with intense love, and they love me with intense love, and I have boycotted them until they distance themselves from that, but I suffer with regret for them. Knowing that I show them religious books and teach them prayer. What is your opinion?
A 3: If the matter is as you described, it is not permissible for you to befriend them, nor to sit with them; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Mujadila 58:22] the verse, and the generality of His saying the Exalted: [Al-An'am 6:68] . It is obligatory to advise them, and if they do not accept, then report them to the competent authority; to take action against them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred
لاَ تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ يُوَادُّونَ مَنْ حَادَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَوْ كَانُوا آبَاءَهُمْ أَوْ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ أَوْ إِخْوَانَهُمْ أَوْ عَشِيرَتَهُمْAnd when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversation
وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ
