Q: My father made a vow and said: "When you grow up, my son, I will make you buy a sacrificial animal from the market and walk it home on foot." However, Allah willed that my father passed away and did not fulfill his vow. Now, O honorable Shaykh: I want to fulfill this vow, but is it permissible for me to buy the sacrificial animal and drive it in the car? The market was a kilometer and a half from the home, but now the market is about six kilometers from us, and this is difficult for me. There is a place where livestock is sold that is half a kilometer from the home, but this is not the recognized market in the town.
And may Allah reward you with the best reward.
