Using the jinn to locate the place of sorcery
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q 2: What is the ruling on one who sends a jinn that has spoken through the mouth of a possessed person, for example, to the house of a certain person to see if there is any sorcery in his house? I know one of the brothers who performs recitation on the possessed person, and after the jinn speaks through him, he sends it to a specific area to bring another jinn that has spoken through another person, and he asks it about its father and mother, who sent it, and where the sorcery is located. Sometimes, if the jinn is Christian, Jewish, or Buddhist, the brother invites it to Islam, and it is also asked to invite its brothers from among the jinn.
A 2 : It is not permissible to use the jinn in any form of usage; because that is seeking help from the jinn and Shayatins, which is forbidden and a means of shirk (associating partners with Allah). It is not permissible to believe them in what they report regarding matters of sorcery and sorcerers, due to the harms involved. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
