The gazelle if the dog hunts it and it dies before its slaughter
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The seventh question of the fatwa number ( 6471 )
Q7: Whatis the ruling on a gazelle that a dog hunted and killed without it being ritually slaughtered? Is it permissible to eat or not? And if it is permissible to eat, what is the ruling on the part of its meat that the dog bit?
A7: If the owner of the dog is the one who sent the dog and he mentioned the name of Allah, then there is no harm in eating what it hunted if he found it dead. As for if he found it alive, it is obligatory to slaughter it. And there is no harm in eating the meat that that dog bit; because the authentic Sunnah has come regarding the permissibility of that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
