He does not know the number of times he broke that oath

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 15619 )
Q 1: Several years ago, I swore an oath not to do a specific act, and that if I did this act, I would have to donate a very large sum of money, which might exceed my capacity, in order to deter myself from doing this thing. Now, after those years have passed, I have broken that oath more than once, and I do not know the number of times I broke that oath. However, Allah has granted me sincere repentance from this matter, and I performed the obligatory Hajj, and I left this matter entirely, praise be to Allah. Now, is there a way for me to be released from this oath? Knowing that I now do not know the number of times I violated this oath, and now I seek Allah's forgiveness often for this matter, and I engage in calling people to Allah the Exalted, enjoining people to pray in congregation, and enjoining good and forbidding evil
and standing in night prayer and reciting the Qur'an. For the record, this amount I swore to donate exceeds my capacity, so what should I do? And may Allah reward you with good.

A 1: If the matter is as you described, it is obligatory for you to pay the expiation for breaking your oath, which is: feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a believing slave. If you cannot find any of these, then fast for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
