The third question of fatwa number ( 6763 )
Q3: What about an oath that has been in effect for a year ?
A3: If he broke it, an oath expiation is obligatory upon him, whether he broke it before the year passed or after. However, if he did not break it, nothing is required of him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
