Oath to do something after a week, but he did it after a month

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 11142 )
Q2: A man swore by Allah that he would do this after a week, but he did it after a month . Is expiation obligatory or not?
A2: If a man swore that he would do something after a period of one week and did not do it until after a month, then it is obligatory for him to pay the expiation for an oath; because he broke his oath. The expiation for an oath is: feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a believing slave. If he does not find the means, he fasts for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
