Q 1: What is the Shaykh’s ruling on one who wears women’s clothing in secret ?
A 1: It is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sunan Abi Dawud 4097Sahih (Al-Albani) , and in another wording: Mishkat al-Masabih 4428
A man wearing women’s clothing falls under this prohibition, so this act is forbidden, even if done in secret; because the text of the prohibition is general. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
