The Ruling on Drawings and Designs in Women's Clothing

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some women's clothing features certain designs and drawings on the chest area, which are called: the model, as well as some very white clothing.
The question is: Is there any prohibition in wearing it, given that, as she says, she does not reveal it except to her husband, and sometimes only in the presence of women among themselves? She hopes for clarification for her and her sisters in Allah, and may Allah reward you all with the best reward.

Answer:
The original ruling in this matter is that clothing of any kind is permissible for men and women, in all colors, but on the condition that it does not involve imitating the opposite sex. Men should have clothing appropriate for them, and women should have clothing appropriate for them. A man should not wear a woman's clothing, nor imitate her, and a woman should not wear a man's clothing, nor imitate him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
May Allah curse the man who wears a woman's clothing, and may Allah curse the woman who wears a man's clothingلعن الله الرجلَ يلبس لبسة المرأة، ولعن الله المرأةَ تلبس لبسة الرجل
, and he cursed the women who imitate men, meaning: those who imitate men.
If the image mentioned by the questioner does not involve imitating men or disbelievers, then there is no harm, even if it has drawings, provided the drawings are not images. If there are patterns or designs on the chest or on the hands, there is no harm in that. Patterns in clothing are not a problem if the clothing is specific to women, does not involve imitating men, and does not involve imitating disbelieving women. It should not be something exclusive to disbelieving women, but rather clothing worn by Muslims. So there is no harm, even if there are patterns on the chest, hands, or neck. However, if the patterns are images of animals, it is not permissible. If it contains an image, such as an image of a lion, or men, or women, or birds, or other images of beings with souls, then clothing containing images of beings with souls should not be worn. As for an image of something that has no soul, there is no harm in that, such as a mountain, a car, or the like.
Women's clothing should be moderate, neither tight enough to reveal the size of the organs and the private parts, nor so loose that the private parts are visible, but rather moderate, and it should be covering.
Her clothing in the presence of her husband: this is a matter in which there is leniency, because her husband is allowed to see her private parts. So her clothing in the presence of her husband is a matter of leniency, in her bed and elsewhere. Likewise, in the presence of women, the matter is more lenient than what concerns men. So in her clothing, she should be covering her private parts and modest in the presence of women.
As for in the presence of men, the matter is greater; she must be veiled, covering her entire body in the presence of non-mahram men, meaning: a man who is not a mahram. As for in the presence of her husband, the matter is lenient in that, because in the presence of her husband, she is lawful to him and he is lawful to her.
