I vowed to hold a musical party when Allah (Mighty and Majestic) grants me a child

The third question of Fatwa No. ( 4962 )
Q 3: D - I vowed to hold a musical party when Allah (Mighty and Majestic) grants me a child, and I currently do not wish to fulfill this vow, as it is a type of
entertainment. What is the ruling on this? I note that I have not been granted a child yet.
A 3: It is forbidden for you to hold that party, and you must pay the expiation for an oath for it. It is recommended for you to slaughter two sheep for the newborn if it is a boy, and one sheep if it is a girl, on the seventh day from the date of birth. The recommended practice is to give charity, eat, and send gifts. You may distribute the raw meat to these people, provided that the sheep slaughtered are of a type that qualifies as a sacrificial animal. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
