Q1: I made a vow and did not fulfill it because I forgot it when I was sixteen years old, and now I am twenty; what should I do?
A1: If the vow you made four years ago was a vow of obedience, then it is obligatory to fulfill it; for it is established from the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih al-Bukhari 6696 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
